By submitting any volunteer applications, I acknowledge and agree to the terms listed below for myself and (if applicable) for the members of my family:

1. Compliance with Rules:
   I agree to observe and follow all posted rules and warnings, as well as any verbal instructions or directions given by Square Dance Farms staff or agents.
2. Age Restrictions:
   Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult supervisor at all times. Volunteers aged 17 and younger agree not to use any power tools or heavy equipment, including but not limited to tractors, lawn mowers, or saws. Supervising adults assume responsibility for ensuring compliance with these restrictions.
3. Assumption of Risk:
   I understand and accept that animal behavior is inherently unpredictable, and there are certain risks associated with farm visits and volunteering around animals. I assume full responsibility for any personal injury to myself, my family, or group members, and release Square Dance Farms from liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from our presence on the farm, whether caused by ourselves or third parties.
4. Indemnification:
   I agree to indemnify and defend Square Dance Farms against all claims, damages, and costs, including attorney fees, arising from our use of or presence on the farm’s property. I also accept responsibility for any damages caused by my or my family’s negligent, reckless, or intentional actions.
5. Parental Consent:
   By signing this agreement, I represent that I have legal authority over any minors participating in farm activities. I consent to their involvement in farm visits, tractor rides, and interaction with potentially dangerous animals and agree to the terms of this release on their behalf.
6. Lifting Policy:
   I understand that as a volunteer, I may be asked to lift items over 25 lbs. If I am unable to do so, I will inform the volunteer coordinator before engaging in any such activities.
7. Medical Treatment Authorization:
   In the event of injury to myself or my child during volunteer activities, I give permission to Square Dance Farms to arrange necessary medical treatment for which I will be financially responsible. Additionally, I consent to have the injured party transported to the nearest hospital if required.
8. Photography Consent:
   I understand that photographs may be taken during farm visits, and I give permission for Square Dance Farms to use such images for lawful purposes. I am allowed to take my own photos, but they will not be used for personal profit without written consent from Square Dance Farms.

Any legal claims arising from participation in farm activities will be resolved in accordance with Kentucky State Law.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to its terms, including the surrender of certain legal rights.
